Pharmacy Technician Program
- Chemeketa Community College, founded in 1952, is a community college located in Salem, Oregon.
- College Mission:
Resource for quality education in a changing world, delivering opportunities for adult literacy, opening the door to all levels of college, and creating centers of excellence in technical training, workforce development, and business support.
The intent of the program is to prepare students to take the national certification examination to become Certified Pharmacy Technicians and be employed in a pharmacy setting.
- Pharmacy Technician Certificate of Completion by successfully completing the required 53 credit hours with a grade of "c" or better in all required courses to meet the requirements of Oregon Pharmacy Board pharmacy technician registration and certification requirement by passing the exam.
- With the option of continuing Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Pharmacology.
